The three major operators have announced operating data in June recently.

Mobile subscribers with expenditure of China Unicom have marked a net increase of 586,000 with the total hitting 260.703 million. Fixed broadband subscribers have increased 249,000 to 73.938 million.

A net growth of 1.43 million happened to mobile subscribers of China Telecom in June, which have reached 206.94 million while its fixed broadband subscribers come to 118 million with an increase of 590,000.

In terms of 4G subscribers, China Mobile also takes the lead, and China Unicom develops faster. Data shows that the former added 19.225 million 4G subscribers to 428.541 million and the latter added 4.235 million to 72.417 million while China Telecom took its 4G base to 90.1 million with a net growth of 5.55 million.

In addition, China Mobile has maintained rapid growth for fixed broadband subscribers while the other two telcos showed slow growth rate. It can be expected that China Mobile will become No.2 in the fixed broadband field in China.

China's three telecom giants start full-service competition after the issue of fixed network operating license and China Mobile takes all as the winner in June.
