ICT Industry Global Annual Flagship Conference—HUAWEI CONNECT 2016 was held from August 31 to September 2, 2016 in Shanghai. This has been by far the largest global event held by Huawei. The event was responded by partners, clients and developers from more than 120 countries. More than 15,000 elites from the industry gathered in Shanghai.

At the age of high speed development of information technology as is today, all-optical networks, and applications and services facing enterprise users based on network infrastructure are the development trend for the construction of industrial parks/business complexes. Huawei launched "Huawei's Solution for All-optical Parks and Business Complexes" at the meeting. Vice manager of the network technology and engineering department of Yangtze Company Qi Shangbo made a special report entitled "New ICT Construction at Smart Manufacturing Parks—Deployment of All-optical Network at Yangtze Qianjiang Technology Park". He shared with meeting participants successful cases of the construction of all-optical networks at smart manufacturing parks, and introduced the course and vision of the ICT construction of Yangtze's parks. His speech received great attention and acknowledgement by guests.
Huawei Connect has been by far the largest global ecological conference facing ICT industry in the history of Huawei. The conference integrated original HCC (Huawei Cloud Congress), HNC(Huawei Network congress) and HDC(Huawei Developer Conference). The theme of the meeting was Shape the Cloud. At the meeting, Huawei launched nine heavyweight solutions such as Cloud Storage, Cloud Services, and NB-IoT chips. It was a great event for the ICT Industry.
