From October 8th to October 27th, 2025, all series of deep-sea wet pluggable optical electrical connectors independently developed by Hua Hai Communication have successfully completed the sea trial. In the deep-sea environment of the kilometer level, the 12-core optical pluggable connector and the 12-core electrical wet pluggable connector have completed more than 30 pluggings between the plug, socket, and flying wire with stable optical connection and fully achieved the predetermined goals. The whole sea trial process was witnessed on-site by Joe Carless, Senior Consultant of Peritus International, a well- international marine engineering company. The test data show that the products have far exceeded the international industry standards in key performance parameters such as insertion loss and insulation resistance, showing significant technical advantages The sea trial results fully prove that Hua Hai Communication's deep-sea wet pluggable connectors have outstanding performance in optical and electrical signal transmission, deep- high water pressure environment plugging function, adaptability to muddy and sandy environments, and compatibility with heavy construction arms, marking a milestone in the field in our country.
