STC is promoting latest digitisation solutions

2017-10-08 15:33:52

The Saudi Telecom Company (STC), represented by STC Business, will be unveiling a variety of ICT digitisation enabling platforms essential to achieving the Kingdoms Vision 2030 transformation objectives during its participation at GITEX 2017 in Dubai.

Digitisation is at the heart of achieving the Kingdoms Vision 2030 objectives, a key component of which is increasing the contribution of small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) from 20% to 35%. According to the General Authority for Statistics, each year, out of over one million small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs), around 100,000 small businesses embark on expanding to become medium sized enterprises.

Dr. Tarig M. Enaya, STC senior vice president of Enterprise says: Digitisation is essential to the scalability and management of any expansion activity in the public or private sector. Well-constructed online services or e-commerce services become popular very quickly. So that they stay popular, you need to match your ICT requirements so that you continue to provide a secure and responsive online experience, in a trusted and highly available manner.

He adds that the STC cloud, its portfolio of managed services and its state of the art Internet of Things (IoT) platforms provide the agility needed for a scalable expansion, increase the reach of any online experience and allow organisations to manage that growth.
