Cityfibre Expands Roll-Out in Glasgow

2017-03-15 10:54:54

UK operator Cityfibre announced the expansion of its network roll-out to the Finnieston area in western Glasgow. First launched in October, the network now spans Glasgow city centre, including the Merchant City, giving businesses in more than 300 postcode areas access to fibre connectivity for the first time. HighNet is the operator's launch partner and internet service provider.

Construction is set to move into the Finnieston area through Bath Street, Sauchiehall Street and Sky Park in the coming weeks. A number of connections have already been lined up for several businesses including ISO Design, Senshi Digital and V-Ships at Sky Park. The build will move into further areas of the city as demand dictates.
