Beeline upgrades network in Mount Elbrus area

Russian operator Beeline, controlled by the Veon Group, has deployed new base stations in mountainous locations in the areas surrounding Mount Elbrus in the Caucasus, reports Cnews.ru. Five base stations have been deployed there, one of them is located 3,500 metres above sea level. The equipment on the base stations has been installed in such a way as to enable the provision of mobile services alongside the route to the peak of the mountain.
