China Telecom 4G Subscribers Increased 31.64 Million in 1H16

China Telecom released the financial results in 1H16 on August 23.
 
According to the report, China Telecom has added 31.64 million 4G subscribers, reaching 90.1 million, with its market share increasing to 15.2%; its mobile subscribers increased 9.04 million to 210 million, catching 15.9% of the market share, of which 4G subscribers accounted for 44%, an increase of 14% compared with the end of last year.
 
The average of 4G data traffic consumed per subscriber per month reached 889MB while a 135% growth happened to the total mobile traffic. The revenue its Internet services on handset brought increased 42%, accounting for 47% of its mobile services which increased 8.3%, showing the leading level of the industry.
