Ltd. will make full use of China Telecom's international network and rich resources to actively develop international telecommunications services.   It will provide customers with cost effective, personalized, integrated information and communication solutions and diverse services.  This includes international private line, virtual private network (VPN), Internet access and transit, and data centre services.  Meanwhile, China Telecom will also uphold its service philosophy of "Customer Service First and Foremost" and continue its dedication to providing multinational enterprises headquartered in Australia with a centre for international communication support; provide clients with quality telecommunication services and a full range of communication support to strengthen and contribute to Sino-Australian economic development.

Australia's excellent investment environment has drawn many Chinese enterprises to open branches in the country.  As business grows, China Communications Services Corporation Limited which is held by China Telecom, will expand its business to Australia, working together with China Telecom (Australia) Limited to create more value and better quality services for clients.

The establishment of China Telecom (Australia) Limited was warmly welcomed and it has received strong support from the Australian government, the telecommunications industry and Australia's business community as a whole.
