Recently, ZTT Zambian Project Department and ZESCO carried out the on-site handover of 33kV cable EPC project at the Bird Cage Substation. The general manager, project manager and South Africa supervisor of ZESCO as well as all the members of the department attended this activity.

The general manager of ZESCO highly affirmed ZTT for its full preparation of this project and pointed out the people in Zambian urban areas were looking forward to high-quality power supply to improve their life and production conditions. He hoped ZTT can contribute more to the construction of Zambian power system on the basis of this 33kV cable EPC project.

This project was located in the center of Lusaka - the capital of Zambia, connecting 5 substations with a total length of 15 km. With broad scope of survey, design, transportation, construction, testing and so forth, its construction time is limited with heavy mission. ZTT Zambian Project Department would overcome all the difficulties and actively coordinate resources in order to ensure the project would be delivered on schedule.

In recent years, ZTT deepens strategic transformation, expands the scale of international business, and improve its overseas project implementation capacity constantly on the basis of “The Belt and Road”. Seizing the opportunity of the Zambian 33 kV cable EPC project, ZTT will strive to further deepen its cooperation on project development and construction with ZESCO, develop the African power market, optimize the transmission line, reduce energy consumption, protect ecological environment and promote the building of the community of shared future for mankind.
