During the 43rd Optical Fiber Communication Exhibition and Symposium, working with the OIF, FiberHome successfully demonstrated interconnection of the physical layer on the intelligent optical network, which marked the FlexE interface interconnection has achieved great results.
This joint demonstration successfully verified the maturity of the FlexE interface and the ability of interconnection between different suppliers. In addition, it showed this technology's excellent indicators and performance, which can meet different types of 5G load-bearing requirements and demanding performance challenges. The demonstration reflected the core value of "Comprehensive, Ultra-wide, Simplified, and On-Demand" that proposed by FiberHome's FitHaul's load-bearing program. It aims to create a multi-service bearing platform for operators that integrates front-haul, middle-haul, and back-haul, and meets requirements such as 5G broad bandwidth, low latency, high accuracy, web slicing, flexible forwarding, and centralized management and control.
