Recently, in the first-stage 5G fronthaul bearer test organized by CTBRI, FiberHome performed excellently. As the first 25G eCPRI transport bearer test in the world, the test provides profound industrial guidance.
With excellent performance, such as high bandwidth and low latency, the fronthaul solution presented by FiberHome outperformed all the other participants. In addition, new boards were used for 5G fronthaul development, featuring short mapping path, fewer layers, low latency, and low costs. In 2018, the first year of 5G bearer, OTN, with high bandwidth and low latency, will become one of the important choices for 5G bearer solutions. On the whole, FiberHome's excellent performance in the first-stage 5G fronthaul bearer test organized by CTBRI proves that FiberHome is able to play a bigger role in 5G development for China Telecom.
