On December 7th, the core suppliers convention of FiberHome in 2017 was held in Wuhan. Mr. He Jianming, vice president of FiberHome Telecommunication, addressed a keynote speech and shared new progress of FiberHome in the past five years with the supply chain partners, and proposed the willing to join hands with upstream and downstream partners in the industry chain, share innovation results in this new era of globalization in ICT market.

Good afternoon！
Welcome to the 2017 Supplier Convention of FiberHome FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies for our key suppliers！
Today’s event is of special meaning for FiberHome. As we all know, the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clarified the new historic juncture in China's development, drew a blueprint of China with Chinese characteristics for the new era. Thus the innovation-driven development strategy and all-round innovation which highlights science and technology are endowed with more powerful and far-reaching meaning.
Over the past five years, China has broadened its path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. The implementation of the five-sphere integrated plan and the four-pronged comprehensive strategy significantly enhanced composite national strength, and elevated people’s sense of fulfillment.
In this period, FiberHome has also broadened its path. Under the guidance of the five concepts for development in new normal, we are carrying forward the convergence of information and computer technology unswervingly, providing powerful support for the construction of cyber-power, digital China and people’s smart life. FiberHome, with cutting-edge technologies in the field of information and communication, is showing the world the strength with Chinese characteristics. Our core products have gained competitiveness constantly in ICT market as well as in traditional optical telecom field domestically and internationally. Following the path of the Belt and Road Initiative, we made the best of our marketing and service, selling our products to multiple areas of the world. What’s more, our self-developed optical transmission device with ultra-large capacity, and hypervelocity, ultra-long distances, broke world records consecutively during the past three years. Solutions for transmission with 400G capacity have been released to markets in China and abroad. Besides, we released the 5G-oriented bearer solution, based on cloud-network integration. Also, a new generation of integrated video platform and CDN solutions has taken the leading position in the industry. Chutianyuan Cloud Openstack has become a unified cloud infrastructure integrated service platform for the provincial governing and administration departments, giving great national impact, and 1+3 industrial landscape took shape. With rapid development in server and storage industry, our transformation has taken initial success.
The outgoing year 2017 is somehow difficult for us. The shrinking investment from telecom carriers chilled down this industry. But, facing the unfavorable situation, FiberHome courageously rose in spite of the above challenges, and maintained double-digit growth in domestic market. This year, the market share of our main product, especially OTN, UTN, and CDN, increased steadily, which laid solid foundation for the next few years. In addition, growth in another two markets reaches above 40%, offsetting part of pressure brought by the slow-down at home. Hence we estimate the overall growth to remain more than 20%, with the contribution of our partners. I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you.
2018 will remain full of challenges. Domestic investment is estimated to trend down; 4G is overdeveloped, while 5G has just taken started; higher velocity and lower price of broadband and demand saturation in urban area will draw down the input-output ratio. All the above may impose negative impact on the industry chain, and even put pressure upstream. Therefore, we must be fully prepared, getting accustomed to meager profit, and paying more attention and focus to upgrading product, providing innovative solutions, and creating more value for our customers. On the other hand, considering the global market and ICT market, we see multiple opportunities. FiberHome stands to grow rapidly in emerging economies where communication infrastructure is underdeveloped. ICT also embraces large demands and fast growth, indicating enormous potential for development. And we hope to extend cooperation with you to make further progress.
This year we’ve received generous support from our partners. once again, I would like to express my appreciation to you all. So given the challenges and opportunities in 2018, addressing all the issues requires our joint efforts. The Chinese government is adjusting the economic structure, building an open economy with higher standards in all aspects, which indicates a trend of in-depth convergence of traditional communication industry and the emerging information technology.
FiberHome Telecommunication Technologies strives to press ahead its transformation of information and communication technologies, involving cloud infrastructure, cloud application, and digital life, while continuing efforts to raise competitiveness in optical communication. We will advance the integration of information technology and communication technology, extending our business to cutting-edge fields that provide comprehensive solutions for the whole society’s digitalization, in order to improve people’s way of life and mode of production substantially. By the accelerating growth of 5G networks, we will seize this opportunity, taking advantage of the consolidation with Datang Telecom Technology, and strengthening our wireless system and work out holistic solutions combining wired and wireless technologies, driving the scale of production and comprehensive strength to a new high. Therefore, by further releasing inner vitality, collaborating with our partners, improving the quality and effect of development, we will grow into a company with bigger influence and louder voice in global market, a hard core, leading the development of information and communication industry, and the “national team of optical telecommunication” that will always fulfill missions.
Taking this opportunity, I’d like to reiterate our principles for cooperation: for long-term cooperation based on mutual benefit, against shortsightedness; for lowering total cost, against blindly driving prices down; for proactive analysis of supply situation and prevention of potential risks, against passive response. We will stick to and enhance transparent, standardized procurement, intensifying the assessment of our suppliers, being impartial to all partners. Priority will be given to suppliers with better records when we introduce new products, step up cooperation, and make payment. We expect your efforts to improve competitiveness, and firmly believe, through working together, we will make the supply chain more stable and efficient.
Delegates, friends, in Chinese saying, faith moves mountains. China has entered a new era. It will be an era for the Chinese people of all ethnic groups to work together and work hard to create a better life for themselves and ultimately achieve common prosperity for everyone. It will be an era that sees China moving closer to center stage and making greater contributions to mankind. It will be an era for FiberHome to join hands with friends, striving for a bright future.
