CCTV discovery channel "Across the ocean, connect world – Hengtong Marnie 2017 Sea Trial”
Recently, CCTV Discovery Channel grandly promoted Hengtong marine documentary "Across the ocean, connect world – Hengtong Marine 2017 Sea Trial” which became extremely popular Hengtong people's Friends Circle.
The documentary showed to global Chinese in detail and vividly the submarine optical fiber cable marine trial process that Hengtong Marine broke the international monopoly, solved the difficulties then finally achieved success. This not only improved Hengtong submarine cable’s competitiveness in the international market, but also to better improved the technical capabilities of Chinese submarine cable industry.

In August 2016, Hengtong has formally delivered to Comoros Telecommunications the first international commercial submarine cable communication engineering project; in December 2016, the construction of the Maldives submarine cable project contracted by Hengtong was official used in business, of which a single cable length is up to 312 km, the longest in the world; in May 2017, Hengtong Marine successfully completed of China's first 5000 meters deep submarine cable’s international sea trial.These are a part of the wonderful achievements that Hengtong handed in within the last year.

Hengtong overcame the 500kV inter-connection submarine cable’s ultra high pressure material cleanliness control, ultra thick insulation extrusion technology and many other technical problems in the world, who created a number of the world's first in submarine cable industry, and successfully developed 500kV cross-linked polyethylene submarine cable.
In the UJ and UQJ international submarine optical cable products certification, achieved 13 UQJ certificates, becoming of the enterprise who have obtained most certifications in most cable types in the organization.
