Submarine cable is different from other cable products. It has small industry with few industry information. International awareness and trust over Chinese cable factories is rather low. Companies participating in the SNW are telecom operators from various countries, consulting companies, submarine cable construction engineering companies, submarine cable manufacturers, submarine cable accessories manufacturers, submarine cable recycling enterprises, submarine cable communications industry media, and world banks etc., covering all types of enterprises within submarine cable industry.

Jiangsu Hengtong Marine Optical Network system Co. Ltd. was established by Jiangsu Hengtong Optic-Electric Corporation Ltd., which develops marine optic cables and accessories. Hengtong Marine introduced world's advanced level production equipment and testing equipment. As a submarine cable research, development and production base, Hengtong Marine’s annual output reached to 12000 kilometers. Hengtong Marine has its own port, being capable of import and export itself.

As the main exhibitors, Hengtong Marine introduced the achievements made within one year to the international submarine cable industrial people.

1. In 2016, Hengtong’s first submarine optic cable project in mid America, 28 km long, HORC DA cable. Hengtong also provided land cables for the project. Picture 1

2. Hengtong provides 278 kilometers of the repeaterless submarine cable (SA, DA, LWP) for Comoros project.

3. Maldives project produced a total of 1115 km relay cable and repeaterless submarine cable, including DA, SA and LWP models. The longest length of the single no joint one is 300 km.

4. The main line of the China Telecom (Qiongzhou Strait) project, with 72 cores and a feed repeaterless system.

5. From April 11th 2017 to May 10th 2017, Hengtong Marine completed sea trials of submarine cable system, which covers two cable series types of HOUC-1 and HORC-1, integrates HUAWEI Marine’s (HMN) R1 RPT, R2 RPT and R2 BU, and used the submarine construction service provided by SBSS. The test consists of four systems:

5000m relay systeml

4000m BU systeml

500m relay ploughl
500m no relay ploughl

Participating in the exhibition gave us opportunity to make face to face negotiations with them and show the strength and potentiality of Hengtong Marine, increased recognition and trust, also enabled us to know the industry comprehensively and met with all kinds of customers within the industry. The two day conference during the exhibition will introduce the latest project progress and future submarine cable project’s fund-raising conditions etc. The exhibition provides us with a good platform for communication and information acquisition.

Hengtong marine will continue focusing on the technology development of transatlantic communications, promoting "China manufacturing" to the world.
