On June 16, Liu Yingzi, Deputy Mayor of Wuhan City and Jiang, Tiebing, Deputy Secretary-general of Wuhan Municipal Government, led heads of Wuhan Science and Technology Bureau, Wuhan Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Wuhan Finance Bureau, Wuhan Commerce Bureau, Wuhan Financial Bureau, the Administrative Committee of East Lake Development Zone and other departments to visit and investigate Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (hereinafter referred to as“YOFC”, stock code:6869.HK). Hu Peng, Assistant Manager in the Technical R&D and management department of YOFC R&DCenter, has introduced to the group of Deputy Mayor Liu the basic situation and innovation achievement of YOFC, with a focus on situation and achievement of YOFC in terms of intelligent manufacturing and the integration of IT application with industrialization. Deputy Mayor Liu highly acclaimed the achievement of YOFC, noting that a good environment for development will be created through the coordination of relevant departments to provide policy support and improve the momentum of development for the company. Deputy Secretary-generalJiang noted that the municipal government will coordinate with different departments to establish a barrier-free communication channel with YOFC, appoint specific liaisons, make a detailed list of demands and timely respond to them for the further development of YOFC.
