On February 13,2017,Jiangsu Hengtong Optic-electric co., LTD claims that its subsidiary—Jiangsu Hengtong Power&Cable co., LTD has successfuly won the bidings of ground cables used for 2016 State Grid Changji-Guquan ±1100kV UHVDC transmission line and other projects, and 2017 State Grid transmission line grounded wire material.The aggregate bidding amounts to 225 Million Yuan.
State Grid Changji-Guquan ±1100kV Ultra HVDC transmission line is so far the highest Voltage transmission line in the world. The success of Hengtong Power&Cable embodies its advanced technology in ultra high voltage wire and cable production and its ability to provide integrated solutions and largely strengthened its status in the field of ultra high voltage cable industry.Such bidding result also expressed its successful transformation from common cable and wire manufacturing to high-end technology and high-end products.
