- Nexans (Shandong) Cables Co., Ltd expands its business scope globally
Nexans Shandong plant, a subsidiary wholly owned by Nexans Group, changed its name to Nexans (Shandong) Cables Co., Ltd. (the "Shandong plant").
Julien Hueber, Executive Vice President Distribution & Usages Business Group Europe / Asia Pacific at Nexans, Yu Dong, Vice President of Cable Transmission and Application Business for Asia Pacific at Nexans, Sun Yuhua, Director of Business Development for Cable Transmission and Application Business in Asia at Nexans and Zhu Qiping, CFO of Cable Transmission and Application Business for Asia at Nexans, attended the inauguration together with the management team of the Shandong Plant, celebrating the new chapter of Nexans' development in China.
As one of the global leading providers of cable and system solutions, Nexans has continuously deepened its localization efforts since entering the Chinese market in the 1980s. The company has been committed to the expansion of innovative products and service programs so as to meet the growing business demands of the customers.
With an area of over 86,000 square meters, Nexans Shandong plant has an annual production capacity of over 40,000 tons. It covers more than 20 leading products, including LV, MV and HV Accessories, and provides technical services for customers. With advanced global production equipment and a rigorous quality management system, it stands out to satisfy the demands of the Chinese market and further consolidate its leading position in a booming energy infrastructure market.

On the same day, government leaders including Wang Gang, Vice Mayor of Liaocheng City and Yang Xubo, Head of Yanggu County, met with Julien Hueber and his delegation to express their gratitude for Nexans' outstanding contributions to the economic and social development of Liaocheng city.
