ANDICOM is the Latin America ICT congress of reference in the region, it was done as every year in Cartagena (Colombia), but this time change the place to the Convention Center of Las Americas, a bigger place to support the 6000 visitors who participated this year.
The congress was hold between September 6th to September 8th, more than 260 enterprises were part of the commercial demonstration and FiberHome was part of those companies showing the samples of different products of the portfolio.

This year the main topic was “Get into the Digital World” which was focused on understand and use digital technologies effectively to take advantage of the opportunities they offer in daily life. This involves being up to date with the latest trends and technological tools, developing digital skills, and being able to adapt to changes in technology and society. Additionally, it also means being aware of the challenges and risks that can arise in the digital world, such as online privacy and security, and knowing how to protect yourself and your information.
More than 130 speakers did presentations about different topics as policies and regulation of telecommunications, 5G, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Web 3.0, Metaverso, cybersecurity, data analytics and digital transformation.
Among the most notable conferences of the event were those held by the ICT Ministry and telecommunications operators, in which the progress obtained in the National Development Plan was shown, on issues of connectivity and 5G technology, fundamental to closing the digital divide in Colombia.

The connection is an important part of the Digital world then FiberHome plays an important role in this new environment with the cable, access, transport and wireless solutions. During the event the manager of Telecommunications department of EMCALI (Mario Ramos), the CEO of UFinet (Ivan Sanchez), the purchase manager of Internexa (Juan Carlos Nieto), the CEO of Mundo Pacifico (Enrique Coulembier) between others visited our stand to talk about how to cooperate with us and improve their business solutions. The presence of our VP of FiberHome International Alex An, our Colombia president Charlie Huang and our CTO Jin Gaoshan give to the customers all the confident needed to continue the cooperation with FiberHome Colombia.

One of the chances we found during this event in the new 5G market it is the cooperation with integrators to offer solutions to the Oil & Gas industry, some of our visitors were this integrators looking for connectivity for this sector, but after meet with the advisor of the MINTIC these solutions will depend on the bidding of the spectrum for this special cases which will be released on April of 2024.
