Hengtong contributes to China-Brazil cooperation

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of sister-city relations between Jiangsu Province in China and the State of Minca Gerais in Brazil. To celebrate this occasion and chart a new course for further cooperation, the Jiangsu Foreign Affairs Office, joined by the Jiangsu DOC, the Minas INDI and the Brazilian CG in Shanghai, held the Jiangsu-Minas Gerais Online Seminar on Investment & Brazil-Jiangsu Roundtable for Entrepreneurs on October 27 in Nanjing.

During the event, the congratulatory message from the Vice-Governor of Minas Gerais, Mr. Paulo Brant, was read. Ms. Tian Min, Chinese Consul General in Rio de Janeiro and Mr. Giberto Moura, Brazilian Consul General in Shanghai delivered speeches at the Seminar.
 
As an important investor from Jiangsu in Minas Gerais, Hengtong Group was invited to give a speech at the Roundtable, together with BraCham, XCMG, Vale, Taizhou Medical City and WEG.
 
In his speech, Bruce Chen, VP for International Cooperation of Hengtong IBG, introduced the close relations between Hengtong and Brazil. Thanks to the support from the Minas Gerais government, as he said, Hengtong Brazil was able to develop at a faster pace. He displayed a clip introducing Hengtong’s donation of a wealth of masks to Wuhan in 2020 for the pandemic rescue, pointing out that Hengtong would continue to make contributions to the cooperation between the two peoples with expertise in the future.
