Recently, Li Hongwu, Dean of China Unicom Research Institute with a group of 4 people, held talks with Fan Zhiwen, Vice President of FiberHome, and other experts in Wuhan to discuss technology research and development cooperation for the CUBE-Net 3.0 network innovation system. Then signed a strategic cooperation agreement on CUBE-Net 3.0 technological innovation between China Unicom Research Institute and FiberHome.
China Unicom and FiberHome are long-term partners. This strategic cooperation mainly revolves around the architecture and concept of China Unicom’s CUBE-Net3.0 all-optical network. The two parties established a comprehensive and long-term scientific technological innovation research and development cooperation relationship in fields such as basic optical network, intelligent brain of cloud network, cloud and network integration, smart home network. The two parties will adhere to innovation-driven development, with the CUBE-Net 3.0 network innovation project as the starting point, strengthen core technology research, promote scientific and technological self-reliance, deepen industry-university-research cooperation, and strive to make new contributions to the leading development of my country's information and communication network technology.
