October 14, 2020, Optics of China Summit Forum was held in Beijing. The current commercial use of 400GE ports in IP and packet fields will further promote the bandwidth capacity of optical transport networks. The backbone optical network has begun to deploy single-carrier 200G driven by capacity requirements, and single-carrier 400G and higher rate deployments are considered for scenarios such as metro and DCI. How to improve user experience is the key to the transformation from traditional optical network to optical service network.
