The 1st English Speech Contest in Hengtong International Business Group had the grand final end up with success yesterday. 9 players showcased their talent, wisdom and professionalism in front of the jury composed by senior executives.
The contest was designed as a simulation with an assumed scenario that Hengtong marketers were introducing their business to global customers or senior leaders. Several rounds of preliminaries and semi-finals had been carried out over the last month among 68 players, including some young colleagues fresh from university, who shared their understanding of the company and personal career plan.
David Tan, President of IBG, and Ms. Lin Pinyuan, Deputy Director of Hengtong Academy of Management attended the final and gave comments to each and every speaker during the course.
The championship was won by Dr. Liu Chen from Hengtong International Engineering company. 5 players won the second prize and third prize respectively with their brilliant performance.
