Network Telecom: the First Chinese Media Invited to SubOptic2016 in Dubai

 The ninth SubOptic Conference (2016), hosted by E-marine PJSC, is taking place in the Conrad Hotel in Dubai from 18th to 21st April, 2016. As a globally well-known triennial exhibition, SubOptic boasts to be the largest in scale and the most professional in the field of submarine communication. Started in 1986, the SubOptic series of events till now has been held for 8 times during the past 30 years. However, this is the first time for SubOptic to be held in the Middle-East area. The theme for the conference is "Emerging Subsea Networks - the World's expanding treasure" which will cover topics such as the increasing intelligence and complexity of submarine networks, as well as the more traditional areas such as wet plant reliability and finely tuned and optimized cable route engineering, that these increasingly complex networks will require.

 

This year, SubOptic 2016 has attracted more than 1000 industrial professionals and delegates of enterprises from around the world, including operators, manufacturers, Submarine cable systems companies, consulting companies and engineering companies etc. Some leading enterprises in the field of submarine cables such as HTGD ((HENGTONG OPTIC-ELECTRIC co., ltd), ZTT Group, and TongGuang Group all received extensive attention.

 

As the media company prestigious in the field of Optical Communication in China, Network Telecom was invited to participate in SubOptic 2016, bringing its well-known “Ranking of the Top 10 competitiveness enterprises in the optical communications industry during 2014-2015" (English Edition), which was warmly welcomed in the Exhibition. Many overseas telecommunication enterprises and operators showed strong interest its ranking and analysis results, deeming it very significant in the industry. Moreover, they also voiced concerns about the Chinese enterprises that have entered the overseas market.

 

With the increase use of broadband and mobile devices among people in the Middle-east countries, the construction of submarine cable systems has made eye-catching achievements in recent years. The demand of gulf countries for the larger Internet capacity has increased remarkably, making Middle-east area one of the most important markets in the world. The SubOptic 2016 in Dubai (one of the world's main hub connecting submarine cables) will undoubtedly promote the development of the global submarine communications. Besides, driven by the rapid development of World Wide Web (WWW), the large capacity international data transmission has already been a trend for transcontinental communication.
