On December 28, 2021, the rankings of Top 10 competitiveness enterprises in the global cables industry in 2021 was released by Asian-Pacific Cable and Industry Association and Wire and Cable Information Institute.
The winners of Top 10 competitiveness enterprises in the global cables industry in 2021 are as follows: Prysmian, Nexans, Hengtong, ZTT, Southwire, Sumitomo Electric, LS Cable & System, Baosheng, Shangshang and Smarter Energy.
Besides, Furukawa Eletric, LEONI, Futong, Fujikura, Zhongli, NKT, Tongling Jingda, Orient Cables, Hanhe Cable and TBEA, respectively, are on the rankings of Top 20 competitiveness enterprises in the global cables industry in 2021.
The rankings reveal that there are 5 and 11 Chinese enterprises among the top 10 and 20 competitiveness enterprises in the global cables industry respectively, which account for half of the rankings. Such a sound momentum reflects Chinese cable enterprises’ quick resumption of production to seize market share after Chinese effective epidemic prevention and control in 2021 and rising competitiveness and comprehensive strength to compete with foreign cable enterprises.
The highlight of this year’s rankings is that Hengtong was ranked among top 3 for the first time, showing the strong power of No.1 cable enterprise in China. Moreover, Orient Cables, for its quick resumption of production and rapid development of business both in home and overseas, was ranked among top 20 in this year.
