Molex has been recognized with a 2016 Strategic Supplier award for its operations in China by FiberHome, a global supplier of end-to-end solutions for optoelectronic devices, optic fiber and cable, and optical communication systems.

Molex was selected for this honor in recognition of its strong business relationship with FiberHome, a dedicated support strategy and its contribution to key projects. As part of its strategy, Molex hosts biannual meetings with top FiberHome executives as well as quarterly technical communication meetings with the research and development group to share a strategic roadmap and communicate business requirements.

A dedicated support team oversees account management and technical support for Molex China, and with its support, Molex products, such as RF solutions, I/O connectors and backplane connector systems, have been integrated into many FiberHome components and devices.
In 2016, demand for Molex SMPM RF Blind-Mate Connectors doubled, compared to 2015, and by working with the plant to maximize capacity utilization, demand was effectively able to be met and FiberHome’s production line efficiency was not disturbed.
