Jakarta, 30 September 2016 - The Ministry of Communications and Informatics (Kemkominfo)of the Republic of Indonesia and the Indonesia Telecommunication Association (ATSI) in cooperation with PT. Infrastructure Asia will hold ICT (Information Communication Technology) exhibitions and conferences titled Expo Comm Indonesia (ECI) 2016, on 9-11 November 2016 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). ECI 2016 held as part of Indonesia Infrastructure Week 2016, the largest infrastructure exhibition events in Indonesia, which provides end-to-end solution for all the most important national infrastructure sectors in Indonesia.
 
“Expo Comm Indonesia 2016 are the only ICT event in Indonesia which supported by the Ministry of Communications and Informatics, ATSI, KADIN, WanTIKnas, and Ministry Coordinator of the Economic. This event is a form of support for the government's agenda to promote ICT infrastructure in all parts of the homeland,” said Alan Solow, CEO Infrastructure Asia.
 
ECI 2016 support ICT Agenda of Indonesian Government
 
The Indonesian government wants to drive the economy through infrastructure projects, which will involve the use of ICT and 'smart' Indonesian Government want to drive the economics by infrastructure projects infrastructure which will involving the use of ICT or ‘smart’ infrastructure and for that they have set the ICT agenda to ensure connectivity throughout the archipelago. ECI 2016 have particular focus to support that things, by bring together local and international industry leaders with central and regional governments so that they can share knowledge and solutions that will drive the expansion of broadband networks agenda, cyber security and the 'smart' future Indonesia.
 
Expo Comm 2016 Indonesia has entered the 4th year, by presenting Telekom trade fairs and conferences as well as ICT (Information Communication Technology). All of this is designed specifically to showcase the latest technology to address issues related to connectivity and networks across the country.
 
“This exhibition and conference will be attended by more than 5,000 industry leaders, and featured CIO's, decision-makers officials from central and local government, which will meet and discuss, share ideas and explore technologies that will drive the future of Indonesia. ECI 2016 presents a variety of special features in the exhibition this year as ATSI Pavilion, ATSI Business Lounge and Cyber Security Forum initiated by ARIM Technologies and its open to the public,” added Alan.
 
 
Expo Comm Indonesia 2016Conference
 
Expo Comm Indonesia 2016 Conference will discuss opportunities for the use of smart technology for infrastructure sector in the country. This conference is intended to overcome the challenges of urban growth and creating sustainable cities, as the plans of central and local government in considering the use of technology to deliver a better city infrastructure.
 
Broadband plan that is now underway in Indonesia, along with the presence of 4G and 5G networks (Start 2020), can be a major factor for the increase in the use of smart technology. This fact creates great opportunities for urban planners to use smart technology in the design of urban infrastructure, which will welcome the presence of smart city revolution smart across the archipelago.
 
Indonesia Infrastructure Week 2016
 
Indonesia Infrastructure Week (IIW) 2016 will be held on 9-11 November 2016, at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), which is strategic and multi-access. This year, IIW presents five leading events that provide end-to-end solution for all the most important national infrastructure sectors in Indonesia. Five of the event consisted of Indonesia International Infrastructure Conference and Exhibition (IIICE) 2016, Airport Solutions Indonesia 2016, Expo Comm Indonesia 2016, Konstruksi Indonesia 2016, as well as The Big 5 Construct Indonesia.
